Portable Solutions is a new service Alchemix is now able to deliver. Created for 2 main purposes: |

Allowing on site recording for live concerts and instrument recording at unique locations, such as in churches, outside atmospheres, anything which will be used as a solo project, to a soundscape to be added to a studio project.

Demo-ing and pre production recording for bands and solo artists, who don't want to have to move all their gear, away from their home rehearsal environment. In other words, pre production to aid a studio project at a later date, or budget, no fuss demo recording.

We have two main packages to choose from. They include an engineer, with the portable mac based set up, including suited microphones, leads, and blank media:

Band Recordings. Suits: Live recordings, hidden tracks for your release cd's, dvd live releases, on location recording for certain sounds, to be used later in a studio release (example: recording drums in an old church and then tracking the rest at the studio).
Prices start from $690, including a 5hr session in the studio to edit and compile a backup data dvd of the material. Also includes a reference board mix. |

High End Live Recording. Suits the similar functions listed above, except that we provide more inputs, better microphones, and a more reliable recording format. An example of this is the live DVD recording we did for Paul Kelly in 2007, which has now been released nationally.
Prices start from $1500, including a 5hr session in the studio to edit and compile a backup data dvd of the material. Also includes a reference board mix. |

If your requirements exceed our basic portable set up, we can also hire in extra equipment from our Woolloongabba Studios.... Naturally for post production, our studio rates for studio A and B are there to provide you with estimates of post production costs.
