The before mastering files peak at .03db but have the original RMS volumes intact. The mastered versions are described as follows. We hope to add more examples over the coming months.
Above Process: all in the box, used a variety of automation and parallel compression to flatten the large dynamic material, to raise the volume but keep a similar feel and smoothness.
Above Process: ran it to 1/4 inch tape, outboard eq and compression, aimed for a smooth sound, loud enough to make an impact.
