Q: Do you offer work experience at your studios?
Q: Should we bring in our own gear or use yours? A: You should bring in your own, and also take note of our gear list, so you can avoid doubling up. For example, we have a quad box for guitar amps, so that would save you bringing along your own. Naturally you know your gear back to front and what sound you want, so for that reason, we recommend you bring your own equipment. We can then recommend other bits of gear if time allows for experimentation. If your only tracking a demo, I'd suggest not bringing a bass amp. We typically will DI the Bass.

Q: Can i hang my art work up at your Tidy gallery?
Q: I hear you guys can replicate and duplicate cds and vinyl? A: Yes, we have an inhouse team who deal with these services daily. Please email sound@alchemix.com.au with your enquiry.
Q: You recorded me a while back, do you still have my back up files
Q: I sent you a demo disk but you haven't responded?
Q: I'm a freelance engineer, can i hire your studios?
Q: Do you have a drum kit at Alchemix? A: No, the reason for this is because each project suits a different stye of kit. For full productions, we recommend hiring a kit from the Drum Cartel. You get a bunch of snares, a pack of cymbals and your choice of shells. It's really really good.
Q: Parking is available at the Studio? A: Yes, you can park outside the front door for $3 p/hr or down the road there are 10hr meters. After 7pm or on weekends, parking in our street is free. Occasionally we can fit another car in our rear private car park spaces. So best to ask the engineer when you arrive.
Q: Do you provide distribution for any styles of music? A: We are mainly a recording studio, but do have some connections. One i would recommend for anyone producing music for hypnosis & meditation, healing or any type of mental therapy cd's, is Resonanz Distribution.
