For the 2009 calendar we will be exhibiting a wide variety of artists from around Australia. The Tidy will eventually in 2010 start to push it's own ideals and pick artists that present certain vibes. One running theme is the idea of artists who work with a great deal of contrast in their work. Contrast being not only the subject matter used, but the variety of styles within a piece, and it's allowance of subtle undertones within works, to push further interpretations.
What this will be and look like is still not really clear, but after 9months in 09, 2010 should start to see the real Tidy Space emerge.
